SharePoint
This conference track is not to be missed by users of Microsoft's SharePoint platform, either for their intranet or their website. SharePoint has risen significantly in popularity and market share over the past few years, but many organizations are still struggling to understand and implement the many features, upgrade to the newest release or integrate with other existing software. This track will bring you the real experience from real user cases, and will help you to get more out of your SharePoint project.

SharePoint – Employee Profiles Using MySites
For many, SharePoint is first and foremost a technical platform with many great features. At Thermo Fisher, usage of employee profiles was a top priority when SharePoint was introduced. In this session you will hear a great case of how the My Site functionality of SharePoint was successfully introduced to achieve measurable benefits.

SharePoint – How To Approach User Adoption
When implementing collaboration and user communities on SharePoint, success does not come easy. Often it hinges upon finding a few dedicated and inspiring community managers, who can leverage the technology and create a contagious enthusiasm within the organization. In other cases, avoiding techy language and 'speaking human' may be critical to convince business users.
In this session you will hear two different case studies about how to achieve the holy grail of user adoption.

SharePoint – How to Leverage its Social Features
Until now, most SharePoint implementations have focused on collaboration. As a result, the more recent social features of SharePoint 2010 are not yet widely used. This session will show you how you can evolve: When the basic SharePoint platform is successfully rolled out and its collaboration features widely adopted, how do you then get more mileage out of the technology by leveraging the social features?

SharePoint – Lessons Learned in a SharePoint Deployment
Two years ago, the Smithsonian Institution selected SharePoint to replace their intranet publishing and enhance internal collaboration. With nineteen museums and research stations, as well as the expected collection of administrative activity, the quantity and variety of data under management is large. Converting existing subsites and communities has yielded useful lessons for others undertaking a similar process, and reflections on expectations met and missed, and real-world outcomes is intriguing.
