The web is human

Time: 4.15 pm - 5.00 pm Thursday, May 10th 2012
Session: User Experience – Why it is still so important
Track: User experience

In this discussion, I'll be taking a look at the
philosophical side of the web - how and why people use it, and why that impacts
our design patterns and usability trends. We'll look beyond principles of
universal design, responsive design, and social media and drill into the idea
that we need to use a different perspective as we move forward, and emphasize
that those that fail to align their strategy with their users will be the ones
in the most danger of losing out to competition.
